Inspired by Greek & Roman Mythology. 

The Gordian Knot symbolises thinking outside the box, thinking creatively & not following traditional ways or methods.
An oracle had predicted that the person that was able to untie/undo the Gordian Knot would rule all of Asia. During the fourth century BC when Alexander arrived, he struggled loosening the knot. Neither was anyone else successful at doing so. Alexander then drew his sword and cut the knot off. Alexander later went on to conquer Asia, thus fulfilling the oracle’s prophecy.
